Real-time imaging in 1D and 2D,enable the display of tissue profusion, optical properties, and raw data for clinical researchers via our mobile companion app. The current prototype can provide about 1.5 hrs of continuous imaging on battery power.
6 fully integrated laser sources from 660-1000nm (customizable) optically coupled to front of device.
3 extremely sensitive silicon photo multipliers (SiPMs), tuned for red to near infrared (NIR) detection allow for 1D pulse (oximetry) and 2D (topography) data collection and imaging.
Single and multi-frequency measurements are possible from 1-400MHz.
The Research Edition can process and display raw amplitude/phase information at a maximum of 36.6kHz (Single source, single detector). Scattering and absorption data, along with 'chromophores' (StO2, Thb, HHb, HbO2) using 6 sources at a single frequency can be displayed at record speeds of 2.33 kHz. All streaming wireless in real-time in a battery powered handheld form factor.
Source detector separations of 20, 30, and 40 mm are designed by default, but can be customized out to 50 mm. This allows for depth penetrations from 1-2.5 cm in tissue.
